Driver Hurt In Crash That Backed Up Route 287: Update

A driver was hurt in a crash that backed up traffic on Route 287 in Morris County on Thursday, April 27, state police said.

The crash occurred in the southbound lanes near milepost 39.4 in Hanover Township just before 9:05 a.m., NJSP Lt. Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice.

A Honda Accord veered off the left side of the roadway, hit the guardrail, and overturned.

The driver was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Peele said.

The crash shut down two of four right lanes for about 90 minutes, according to 911NJ.

The crash remained under investigation, Peele said.
